Safety InspectionOur parent company -Wicksteed Leisure is a member of the Register of Play Inspectors International Limited (RPII) and has a nationwide team of Inspection and Maintenance Engineers who will check and assess your playground, sports equipment and safety surfacing in accordance with BS EN 1176:1998 - Playground Equipment, BS EN 1177:1997 - Impact Absorbing Playground Surfacing, BS PAS 30:1998 - Outdoor Recreation Multi-Sport Equipment and BS PAS 35:2001 - Wheeled Sports Equipment. Downloadable copies of the Wicksteed sponsored Guide to BS EN 1176 & BS EN 1177 are available from the EN 1176 & 1177 section of our website. Risk AssessmentA Risk Assessment service is available to enable playground operators to fulfil the requirements of the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1992. Wicksteed Inspectors use their experience and training to identify and categorise any risks they may detect during the Inspection process and make the appropriate recommendation for remedial work.
