Wicksteed tower above the rest at SALTEX

They’ve done it again!  At this year’s IOG SALTEX, (5th to 7th September) Wicksteed Leisure Limited won another Gold Stand Merit Award for Outstanding Design and Layout – an accolade to which the UK’s leading play equipment company is no stranger.

Quite apt really, because Wicksteed’s  ‘gilt-edged’ invitation this year revolved around a winning theme; it encouraged recipients to bring their Golden Ticket to the event, drop it in the Golden Casket and await the results of the daily prize draw where they could win a major item of play equipment for their Council, School or favourite Charity.  The lucky winners are listed here:

Cass Smith from Coventry City Council, the Skyscraper Climber Wall & Spring Mobile

Colin Jones of Welwyn Hatfield District Council won a Fantasy Fun run & Spring Mobile

Renowned for their stylishly stunning sport and play products and systems, beautifully displayed on their visually appealing Stand, Wicksteed was presented with the coveted IOG award as the September sun beat down on the Windsor Racecourse turf.  Dominating this year’s innovative products was the top-notch Matrix – a fantastic modular system designed to enthrall and exercise those children in the older range who are prepared for a bit of a challenge!  Towering impressively above all the other ranges (including competitors’!), this new product certainly turned visitors’ heads and created very keen interest among customers – some of them sufficiently intrigued to climb the pyramid themselves!  

Other brand new products featured on the stand were Mystical World – an excitingly different Junior Multi-play range.   Zig-Zag Twisters, a Fireball Spinner and Flying Saucer were also amongst the play equipment on view to the visitors who were seen happily weaving their way in and around these and other innovative products during this 3 day event.
