Playground Slides
Talk to any children or young teenagers and most will be quick to tell you that slides make a playground (or park) complete.

Monitor their activities and preferences in any play area and you will see confident individuals race to the slides; it’s a challenge they can’t resist.
Letting go - at the top of a slide - gets easier as the children grow and their confidence also grows.
Pedestal Slides
- Supplied in three height options.
- Suitable for children aged 4 to 14 years.
- Kitemarked to BS EN 1176.
Wide Slides
Perfrect for children with special needs, enabling them to play together with able-bodied friends, or have carers alongside assisting them with their enjoyable slide experiences.
The wide shute design can accommodate a child and helper where necessary. Play panels from Mclays’ Tropica Multi-Play range i.e. Jungle Clock, Coral Abacus, Clown Face Panel and Dolphin Tactile Panel can be built into the lower level of these slides, if required.
Embankment Slides
A range of six lengths to choose from. Designed for children aged 5 to 12 years. Ideal for constructing onto a sloping site play area. Where these areas may have become defunct due to a slope or incline, you will find our Embankment Slide offers an attractive play feature which will re-attract the children immediately. None can resist a slide experience. The Embankment Slide can be built onto an incline gradient of 30 degrees approximately. Mclays experts would recommend a site survey is undertaken by ourselves before advising on a design that suits your slope area requirements.
Safety Features
Both the Pedestal and Wide Slide designs have sturdy, space-saving support pedestals - with NO projections or obtrusive parts - for obvious safety reasons. All the slides have SPLIT TUBE safety edges to further ensure the children come to no harm.
Metalwork is pre-treated with a zinc metal thermal spray, finished with a polyester powder coating conforming to BS 5665 and EN 71 standards.
Slides are fastened with tamper-resistant fixings throughout.
Safety Surfaces: Mclays offer a choice of three different systems, including Safety Tiles, Continuous Safety Surfacing and Safety Grass.
Bark is not recommended for use under slide areas. NO SAFETY SURFACE is required under an Embankment Slide.
