Playground surfacing products and installation available from Mclays is of the highest quality.
Safety Tiles
Each thickness of our Safety Tiles has been tested in accordance with and certified to BS EN 1177:1998 and BS 7188:1998. They are suitable for all playground surfacing installations where safety surfacing is a requirement, up to the appropriate Maximum Free Fall Height. This playground surfacing is slip-resistant, non-abrasive and porous.
Safety Tiles provide you with playground surfacing that is virtually maintenance free. They have a 5-year guarantee, excluding normal wear and tear, accidental damage and acts of vandalism to the playground surfacing.
Continuous Safety Surfacing
Continuous Safety Surfacing is suitable for all installations where safety surfacing is a requirement, up to the appropriate Maximum Free Fall Height. It is available in a range of colours, flecked or with graphics designed into the playground surfacing. It is slip-resistant, non-abrasive and puddles do not form, preventing the playground surfacing from becoming slippery. It is virtually maintenance-free and has a 5-year guarantee, excluding normal wear and tear, accidental damage and acts of vandalism.
Safety Grass
A playground surfacing for grassy sites, this is an alternative playground surfacing method for play and fitness equipment. It is a honeycomb matting that virtually disappears as it lets the turf grow through its cells. Caution should be exercised in using this product as playground surfacing with play equipment with a free fall height in excess of 2 metres. Our Safety Grass has a 5-year guarantee, excluding normal wear and tear, acts of vandalism and accidental damage.
Safety Bark
The Bark is an attractive alternative playground surfacing for certain types of installation, such as smaller, static items. It is a natural material at relatively low cost. We do not recommend Safety Bark under moving equipment, because of its ease of displacement. In such cases, choose one of our other products for playground surfacing. |
